The family of a missing Glendale girl is questioning her mother’s innocence one month after the 5-year-old’s disappearance. Jhessye Shockley vanished from her apartment near 45th and Glendale avenues in October. Jhessye’s family stood by her mother, Jerice Hunter, from day one. Jahessye Shockley, the missing 5-year-old Glendale girl, has now been missing for roughly 40 hours, and investigators continue to search for the young girl. Authorities have expanded the search for Shockley, who it now appears could have potentially been abducted. According to the Glendale P.D., Shockley wandered away from siblings — who were caring for her at her family’s apartment at the time — a little before 5 p.m. Tuesday and hasn’t been seen since.
